Internal Communications

So how do you currently engage with your employees? A random thank you email from the CEO which is well intentioned but basically comes across as ‘you’ve worked really hard this year, not enough to pay you a bonus, but hard enough to earn me a stonking, great exec pay package so cheers for that’?

Internal CommunicationsOr the occasional newsletter when you think of something to say or the ‘ra ra’ event when you’re kicking off a new activity? None of that is going to positively engage your employees; it takes a consistent and well thought through programme activity to positively engage colleagues and take them on the journey with you.

A report compiled by the Hay Group identified that engaged employees generate 43 per cent more revenue than disengaged ones. And the Work Foundation says a 10 per cent increase in investment in good workplace practices would increase profits in companies by between £1,083 and £1,568 per employee per year. (Source: Michelle Rodger, Scotland on Sunday, 09 May 2010) So internal communications shouldn’t be underestimated.

We will work with you to develop the right internal campaign for your business, everything from newsletters and magazines, to making announcement about corporate restructures, to keeping employees informed of what’s happening in their own company (sales, marketing, PR, operational activities) as well as what’s happening in your sector.

We will develop with you a well thought through programme of activity that will ensure your employees feel like part of the company and can make a positive contribution; ensuring they are armed with the information and ambition they need to help you drive your company forward.
